NARUDA

We help the people of Nagaland achieve their full potential regardless of race, creed or background.

Nagaland is a very poor, remote region of North East India. Predominantly, people are involved in subsistence farming and struggle in their daily existence. By helping them to achieve their potential through training, financial support and education, Naruda are improving the lives of many.

Naruda, in conjunction with Global Support Link, has carried out many projects, which include:

  • Looking after abandoned children at Agun Ki, the House of Hope

  • Installing rainwater harvesting facilities at a remote hilltop village to provide water during the dry season

  • Building a small pig farm to provide sustainable funds so we can carry out more projects

  • Initiating a health care program in 25 remote villages in the Tening region.

  • Supporting a beekeeping program

GSL has been lucky enough to been associated with NARUDA for four years and we have helped with several projects.  We are glad to say that work we have done fully supports our mission.

Any donations received at the moment will be used either to support the children of the Agun Ki project or to help finance a sustainable capital project, such as mushroom farming.
