Community Library & Learning Tea Shop Project Launched in Rural Nepal
We are excited to announce the launch of the Community Library & Learning Tea Shop Project in rural Nepal.
The project aims to create a welcoming community space where children can access books, develop a love of reading, and study together. The library will also be open to the wider community, providing learning opportunities for women and older people who may not have had access to education in the past.
Alongside the library, a small Learning Tea Shop will be established to help support the long-term sustainability of the project. A portion of the tea shop's profits will be reinvested into maintaining the library and purchasing new learning materials.
The project was developed in response to the needs identified by local communities, where access to books and educational resources remains extremely limited. Through this initiative, we hope to create a space that supports learning, connection, and opportunity for future generations.
We look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.
Why This Matters
This may be a small project, but for this community it has the potential to be life-changing. It offers children a better start, gives adults a second chance at learning, and creates a shared space for connection, learning, and belonging.
Every book, every shelf, and every contribution helps bring this vision closer to reality.
Your donation won't just buy books — it will open doors.
Thank you for your support.
